Orlimar Intercept MB Black PVD Iron Set 5-GW Regular

Our take

This set offers the classic blade look with a modern black PVD finish, appealing to golfers who want style and performance. The regular flex steel shafts are more forgiving than stiff, making this set accessible to a wider range of players, including those with moderate swing speeds. The blade head shape still demands precise ball striking, but the regular flex can help generate a bit more whip. The mid-high launch and spin are suitable for players who want to work the ball. However, the low forgiveness of the blade design means mishits will be punished. This set is best for the low-to-mid handicapper who appreciates the traditional feel and is willing to practice. High handicappers should consider a more forgiving set.
